Let your Network know you'll be at #LearningPlacesScotland and #EdTechScotland

Thank you to all our speakers for their participation in Learning Places Scotland and EdTech Scotland.  Be sure to take advantage of the speaker resources below to promote your session and maximize your success.

SESSION & PRESENTATION INFORMATION

Session Briefing Calls

• Chairs will organise a briefing call with all speakers at least 2-3 weeks before the event to discuss and finalise the content and format.

If using PPT Slides:

• Aspect Ratio 16:9
• Use a large font with less text
• If you are showing video clips as part of your presentation, please embed them into your slides rather than linking them and relying on venue Wi-Fi. Please also send them to Kathleen as separate files
• Please use a file sharing system to send your slides if your file is very large, and remember to bring a back up copy
• Slides must NOT contain custom fonts
• Please note that unless informed otherwise, all presentations will be shared with attendees post-event as a non-editable pdf and sessions may be recorded and shared. 

PowerPoint Requirements and Deadline: 

• Please send PowerPoint presentations to Kathleen by Wednesday 13 November 2024
• All conference session content must be non-commercial and educational in nature, and the promotion of a specific person or company and/or its products or services is NOT permitted.

AV Equipment
Any special requests must be submitted via email by Monday 11 November 2024. Each stage will be equipped with the following audio/visual equipment:

• High-resolution LCD projector and screen
• Lectern with microphone
• Laptop/comfort monitor to show slides in presenter view
• Clicker to advance slides
• Headsets (Stage 2 & EdTech stages only)

SPEAKER REGISTRATION & BENEFITS

• As a chair or speaker, you receive a complimentary ticket to attend both days of the event.
• You receive full access to all of the conference sessions, the exhibition, EdTech sessions and Networking opportunities.
• You also receive complimentary tea and coffee in the Speakers Lounge, and lunch on the day you are speaking. Upon arrival, you can collect your badge at the Registration Desk.

MARKETING & PROMOTION

Speakers are encouraged to promote their sessions through personal invitations, social media outlets, blogs, and digital newsletters. Please tag us in your posts with #LearningPlacesScotland2024 and #EdTechScotland and we will retweet/reshare. If you’re not already following us, please do so on the accounts below:
