Thomas Brumby
Thomas comes from a multidisciplinary background spanning architecture, music, education, and inclusive creative practice that is focussed on engaging and supporting individuals and groups with additional support needs.
Thomas currently works in architecture for HLM Architects, and also as an inclusive music and arts practitioner for Paragon Music and Common Wheel. He is passionate about inclusion, collaboration and community engagement. During his time at HLM he has worked on a range of projects, including the design of the Kadampa Meditation Centre, the Strathclyde University Union redevelopment and the Ingliston Hotel development.
As part of HLM’s work on the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland, Thomas has co-led a student led design competition to develop designs to transform the external environment of Renfrew High School. He has previously worked for Glasgow’s Development and Regeneration Services, contributing to the expansion of the Royal Concert Hall and masterplanning of Pollok Park.
