Richard started his career at Sandaig Primary in Glasgow in 2007 and it was here where he was first introduced to the transformative features of digital technology. He then moved to Darnley Primary as Principal Teacher and successfully implemented a 1:1 Apple iPad programme. In 2017, he became Depute Headteacher of King’s Park Primary. During this time, he has supported Glasgow’s 1:1 iPad ‘Connected Learning Programme’, been seconded as a Digital Officer at Education Scotland, managed Glasgow’s Apple Regional Training Centre and successfully lead King’s Park Primary to become an Apple Distinguished School. He is passionate about creativity and transforming learning for all.
