Magnus is the Principal Officer, Workforce, Policy, and Pupil Placements at Midlothian Council but in his career with the council has carried out a wide range of roles, including learning estate, implementing 1140 hours, school consultations, GIRFEC community planning, Data Protection, contracts, performance reporting, revenues and benefits systems and legislation training. Involvement in the SmartViz project brings together many strands of his experience and connections across the Council.
