Laurence Findlay started his career as a teacher of Modern Languages in Edinburgh and after working as a teacher of French and German, Principal Teacher and Depute Head Teacher in both Aberdeenshire and Moray, he then became Head Teacher at Forres Academy in Moray Council before moving into senior local authority roles and is now Director of Education and Children’s Services for Aberdeenshire Council.
