Joanne has many years’ experience in a variety of sectors within ELC, supporting and leading staff and has always valued continuous professional development.  She has been an inspector with the Care Inspectorate for three years and is currently on secondment to the safe staffing programme, supporting the ELC sector prepare for enactment of the Health and Care (Staffing)(Scotland) Act 2019. Joanne is passionate about recognising and valuing the contribution that all staff make towards delivering Scotland’s vision of providing a high quality, equitable, childcare and learning experience for all children.
