Dr Edward Edgerton is an experienced researcher within the field of environmental psychology and his research expertise focuses on the role of the learning environment in the educational process, and environmental design within healthcare environments. Recent projects have focused on dementia friendly design in care homes and identifying and evaluating the impact of new school buildings. He has recently completed a unique, nine-year study that has investiagted the impact of a new secondary school building programme in Scotland on students and staff.
