Caroline Amos is currently Head of Service (Education) in the Communities and Education at North Ayrshire Council.  Caroline is a past president of School Leaders Scotland.  She has chaired several national working groups and is currently chairing the Mental Health in Schools working Group as well as the group looking at guidance for schools on physical intervention. She is ADES representative on SAGRABIS.

Prior to commencing her role at North Ayrshire in 2015, Caroline was Head Teacher of Paisley Grammar in Renfrewshire.  Caroline began her career as an English teacher at Lourdes Secondary in Glasgow and she has held promoted posts in schools in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire Councils.
